Bathroom Remodeling | Rebath Charlotte NC

Thinking about a "rebath"? What is a "rebath"?

When you "rebath" your bathroom, you are remodeling your bathroom -- redoing it -- and transforming the bathroom from boring to AMAZING. We have been installing and have had the
pleasure of remodeling a "rebath" in many Charlotte NC homes.

Check out the photos to the side of a recent rebath in Charlotte NC. The first photo shows the bathroom before the rebath. It has a blue tub, carpet floors --- the only thing that truely sticks out is the granite countertop.

This bathroom was begging for a rebath.

The process involved in a bathroom remodel and rebath is not as complex as you may think. Most rebaths can be done fairly quickly and for less the cost of a bath overlay (Bathfitters).

Bathroom remodeling is one of the most popular home improvements right now in Charlotte NC. Does your bathroom give you the blues? Easily transform, rebath, your bathroom into a work of art.

When you rebath your bathroom, you are removing old materials and replacing them with new up to date materials. If you use a tub overlay, such as a bath fitter, you are only covering up potential new and old problems such as mold and mildew. Even if the area is cleaned before a bath fit project, it does not remove unseen damage beneath and only cleans the surface.

Granite Countertop Pricing, Prices and Information - Charlotte's Best Tops

Granite Countertop Pricing & Information

Granite Countertop installation ranges in prices based upon the color of granite you would like installed. Granite colors can cost different based upon where the granite is mined from, the quanity available, movement in the stone, and the cost of the slab per the granite distributors selling the slab.
Typically, granite slab prices are in Levels or Categorys. Most distributors have a Level I (one), Level II (two), Level III (three) or higher stones. Granite colors without much movement (belonging to a speckled granite family) are usually less in price. Granite colors with some to a lot of movement are priced higher because they are higher in demand.

A very popular color that we have blogged about alot, is Santa Cecilia -- a brazillian granite color that has some movement in the stone. This granite color is not as expensive as an exotic granite, but can transform a granite countertop from dull to extraordinary easily.

Santa Cecilia Granite:

Here are examples of granite slabs and stones that do not include movement:

Wheatfield granite

Baltic Brown

Tan Brown

Here are some granite colors that do have movement:

Granite price varies depending on customer color preference, color of the granite, movement found in the granite, and the price the granite distributor is selling the slab for.

Some slab sizes are larger or smaller than others. This could effect the price of your granite countertops. If you have 50 Sq Ft of countertop space (the average size for an average size kitchen), choosing an exotic color slab that only has 30 sq ft of usable space would result in the need for 2 slabs to be cut for your countertop. Although, more common slabs have around 50 sq ft of usable space, so there is no need for an additional slab. Granite costs and prices can change based upon granite color, which is why most granite install companies charge a per square foot price for each specific granite color.

We offer a package deal. Instead of pricing granite per square foot and then adding on all the additional charges (sink cut out, undermount sink, installation, taxes, disconnect of plumbing, edge treatment, faucet hole cuts, polishing and more) we include everything. We have several colors you can choose from for one specific bottom line price. (For more information on this, call us at 704-721-0001 or 803-328-3737--mention the blog and what area you are calling from for your specific price.)

Santa Cecilia granite is one of our most popular granite colors. It has just enough beautiful movement, colors, and isn't too expensive either.

Santa Cecilia matches dark and light cabinets and is good with plenty of other floor or wall colors.

Santa Cecilia is described as being a "very consistent light yellow colored stone with honey highlights and burgundy bursts. "

Santa Cecilia is considered a "beige" granite and is mined from Brazil.

It is one of the most popular and appealing granite colors being installed today.

New Tile Installation - Simple Accents to Your Remodel

Check this out. Want to take part in the tile trend but still on a budget? See what this homeowner in Charlotte did in these photos.
Instead of creating what is called a "Gourmet Kitchen" by having complete tile backsplash from countertop to cabinet, they contracted us to install a simple backsplash consisting of one single row of Rialto White 4 x 4 Tiles. Then, to accent the tile more, we installed a backsplash behind the stove with Uba Tuba granite tiles (that match their newly installed granite).
Tile backsplashes are a perfect way to accent your kitchen or bath, or to also compliment your newly installed granite.
As these homeowners did, the Uba Tuba 4 x 4 in-lays over their stove match their granite countertops perfectly, giving the kitchen an extra WOW factor.

Thought tile backsplash was too expensive? Think again.

The options to redesigning your kitchen and bath are endless and the prices range pending on the square footage or styles.

Tile backsplash doesn't have to be an expensive addition and you can be as creative with the colors, in-lays, or tile sizes as you want.
